While watching a special last week marking Michael Jackson’s Birthday (Michael Jackson History: The King of Pop 1958-2009) a commercial aired touting a new Psychic Hotline called “Psychic Source.” They claimed to be able to tell you anything you want to know about anything in the future. If you want to know if you are going to marry, or have children, if your husband or wife is cheating or whatever the case may be, they claim to have all of the answers for whatever concerns you about life for a mere “$10 for 10 minutes.” That’s one dollar a minute for lies. I was so disgusted, angry and sad seeing that. It was sad that people are so desperate, so hungry for answers, yet not knowing who they should really turn to, that they would resort to that. And angry at those that take advantage of those desperately, hurting and lost people.
You will never find the answers your heart seeks from a Psychic. Psychics don’t have the truth. On top of that the answers you get come from their “spirit guides,” the demons they depend on for information from the “other side.” The Bible calls these spirit guides “familiar spirits.” You are only opening yourself up to bondage and curses. God is not in it.
God is very clear about how He feels about this evil and has spoken of it very plainly on numerous occasions. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 KJV says “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or daughter to pass through the fire (this was a practice where people sacrificed their children to the idol Molech, and made them literally walk through fire or be consumed and burned alive as a sacrifice), or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. (A necromancer is someone who prays to or speaks to the dead) For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.”
That seems pretty clear to me that God is against such things. Leviticus 19:31 KJV says “Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.” Leviticus 20:6 KJV says “And the soul that turneth after such as has familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against the soul, and will cut him off from among his people.” And that’s just a few out of numerous verses detailing God’s disgust with such practices. There is no such thing as white magic. It is all dark and profane, and abominable. You can not, under ANY circumstance, serve both God and the devil.
Satan is the author of this wickedness. He is behind every idol, every demon, every evil thing. Satan is a liar. The truth is not in him. It is his sole purpose to destroy you. How can the father of lies and destruction, the one who seeks to steal, kill and destroy you, lead you into truth. He can’t. Only God can.
Only one person has the truth and that’s Truth Himself. God, the Alpha and Omega. The Beginning and the End. You’ll never get the answers you seek from a demon or a demon filled person. If you want the truth go to the Source of all Truth; God Himself. All the answers you’ll ever need can be found in Him. Read your Bible daily. If you don’t have one get one. There are free online Bibles. A lot of 99 cent only stores carry paperback Bibles for of course 99¢. Get one. Your Bible is your roadmap for how to find Everlasting Life, how to live this life, and tells of future events that the whole world needs to know.
The answers that you seek aren’t written on the palm of your hand, in the stars, in runes, the tarot, numerology, horoscopes, tea leaves, coffee grounds, charms, spells,a psychic/spiritualist, shaman/witch doctor, or anything or anywhere else where Almighty God is not. Truth can only be found in Jesus Christ. So if you want to know truth go to the Ultimate Source, the Source for all truth—God. Once you get a hold of the Ultimate Truth, the Absolute Truth, which is the One True God, you will NEVER turn back. Jesus is the way to all truth and salvation. Turn to Him. Commit your life to Him. Make Him Lord and Savior of your life and He will guide you on how to truly live this life.
