Pure by Rebecca St. James Book Review

Pure: A 90-Day Devotional for the Mind, the Body & the Spirit by Rebecca St. James

“Pure”, written by Popular Contemporary Christian singer Rebecca St. James is an inspirational devotional on how to live a life that is pure in every aspect, not only sexually. “Pure” is a 90-day guide on how to live completely sold out to God in everyway. If you’ve ever wanted to live a life of “radical faith” this book is for you.

Divided into three sections : Purity of Mind, Purity of Body and Purity of Spirit, Rebecca has you covered as together you walk for 90-days to a life that is made new, by living “on the edge” and is full of the light of God. From getting “In tune to the purpose of God” to “Waiting for Sex “ to Hearing from God,” the journey is mapped out to get you living all out for Christ.

I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to live a life that is “Pure.” This book is for anyone that wants to live life as an act of worship, to worship God in all that you do, not just in the church pews on Sunday. If that sounds like a good way to live than “Pure” is the book for you.

  • Wow! Sounds like a total winner on so many levels. I love the concept of reaching out.

Just yesterday I read somebody’s quote that describes the world today:
“I remember when sex was dirty and the air was clean”. Can’t remember the person…but older.
So, thanks for critiquing something that has substance, Christ’s annointing and can help a hurting world.

I’m glad that you liked the review. I hope that you will purchase this great book, and share it with those you love, particularly young men and women in their pre-teen, teen and young adult years, although this book is for everyone.

It’s important that they know that just because the world says something is okay, doesn’t mean that it is. That following the world will only lead to heartache and pain. The evidence of that fact is all around us.

Thank you for your comment Wendy.

    Be blessed!
