I love this quote. It’s simple, but so very true. What is it that you want to do or need to do, but won’t because of fear in your soul?
We as believers have power in the Lord to overcome and do great things, but hardly exercise it. Many of us live a weak life while many of those that don’t know Christ live fully! There is something wrong with that picture. We have the victory in Christ! Yet, instead of living victoriously, we live lives of defeat. That is not the way it’s supposed to be.
We need to become full of daring, because that’s what faith is. We need to trust God, because that is what it means to have faith. You can’t not trust God and have faith! We need to focus more on the faithfulness of God. When has He ever let us down? Never!
Focus on the love of Christ, His love for us, and our love for Him. Remember that perfect love casts out fear. Ask God for strength and to help you grow in faith daily. And as you stay in prayer and the Word of God and as you keep your eyes on Him, and step out in faith you’ll go farther than you ever thought you could. Let’s pray to God and ask Him to help us develop a daring faith today, so that we can live more like victors and less like victims today.
