Jesus Is The Reason For It All – Merry Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas to my faithful readers here at Reflections of a Queen. I hope that your Christmas is a beautiful one. Let’s not forget to keep Jesus first as we celebrate His birth. It’s all about Him. Not trees. Not gifts. Not Santa Claus. It’s about celebrating the day that Christ was birthed into this world to one day grow up and become a man who would bring Salvation to the world. All we have to do is turn to Him and away from our sins and be saved and made new!

Please take a moment to remember the lost and those that are less fortunate this year. There are people all over the world who don’t even have the honor of knowing who Jesus is yet because no one has told them. Pray for them. There are those that know of Him, but refuse to accept Him as their Savior. Pray for them. There are those that do know Him, but are persecuted for their faith and can’t serve and worship Him openly. Pray for them. There are those that don’t have family or homes or food this year. Pray for all of them. And there are many more that need your prayers this year. People all around you. Family, friends, coworkers and associates. Even strangers. Pray for them all. They are not to be forgotten. And most importantly, be sure to thank God for sending Jesus into the world to give His life for us; for blessing us with the Greatest Gift of All in Christ Jesus.

So enjoy this time with your family and remember what this day is truly about. Don’t fall for the commercialism and pagan hype. This day is Christ-mas, not Santa Claus-mas!

I love you all.

Merry Christmas and God bless you.
