“Praying For Your Future Husband: Preparing Your Heart for His by Robin Jones Gunn and Tricia Goyer” is a great book. The book seems to be geared towards young women. Such as those in their late teens to early twenties. But it really does not matter how old you are. If you are a single, Christian woman, this book is for you.
Each chapter gives different areas of your future husbands life to pray for. From giving his life to God, trust,protection, being loyal and faithful, patient,committed and so much more. There are even prayers for you to pray for yourself as well. This way you not only pray for your husband to be all that God has called him to be, but so that you can pray to be all that God has called you to be. To prepare your hearts for each other, and not to only pray for your future husbands heart to be ready for you.
There is even a scripture list at the back of the book – one for every week of the year to pray for your husband.
I really enjoyed this book. It’s very encouraging. There are success stories of women that prayed for their husbands and how God brought the men He had for them into their lives and how blessed they have been. The authors Robin Jones Gunn and Tricia Goyer share their own path to finding the loves of their life.
There are prayers, information on how to apply what you have learned and so much more. I highly recommend this book to any woman waiting for that special someone that God has for them. If you aren’t praying for your future spouse you really should start. What’s more loving than praying for the one you love, or the one God has for you to love one day? Why not buy this book and start learning how to prepare your heart for the one God has for you?
