Why is it that when things go wrong one of the first things that people do is blame God? God is not responsible for the ugly things in our lives. All I’ve got to say about this book is wow, wow, WOW! Evil is so real and the effects can be so devastating. But God is far greater and powerful than Satan. God will always put a stop to evil. It can never prevail.

Ascent From Darkness is the story of one man’s descent into Satanism and God’s relentless pursuit to bring him from darkness into the Light. For twenty years, Michael Leehan was a slave to Satan. He experienced things that most people don’t want to think about, or even believes is real or could be true. But, it’s all true.

I love this verse. Get it down deep into your heart and hide it there for when you need it. Jesus promised to be there for us always, even until the end of the world. Not sometimes. Always! Brazilian Model Mariana Bridi de Costa

I came across a story last Friday afternoon (January 23, 2009) about a young 20 year old Brazilian model that really touched my heart. Her name was Mariana Bridi de Costa.

Everything had been going well in her world. She was achieving her dreams and accomplishing goals that would allow her and her family to have a better life someday. She had placed sixth in a major contest just last year in China, and had been signed by model scout Dilson Stein who was also responsible for discovering Supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
