Nothing that we do for God is in vain. Your life is not a waste. Everything that you have invested into the Kingdom of God matters to God. Everything you have suffered, every tear you have shed as you have gone about your Father’s business will never be in vain. Unnoticed by the World

Do you sometimes feel invisible? Just completely unnoticed by the world? Maybe you bust your butt at your job, work hard as a wife, Mother, Husband or Father, give your all serving in the church week after week without a simple thank you. You’re just chugging along spreading the Word of God, training your kids in the way they should go, being the man or woman God has called you to be and you’re feeling completely unappreciated. It doesn’t feel good at all, does it? We’ve all felt that way at some point in our lives. People have a way of both intentionally and unintentionally taking others for granted.

God Is Not Your Puppet

“Jesus answered them and said, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, ye seek me not because you saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.” — John 6:26 KJV

Why do you serve Jesus? Do you serve Him because you truly love Him? Or do you serve Him because of what you think you can get from Him?

A lot of Pastors today teach serving God for things is good. Their self-centered and deceitful teachings tell people to come to Jesus Christ, not because they have sinned against Him and are lost, and yes, destined for Hell because of their sin against God, but that Jesus made a way out for them by dying for them. But, they tell them to come to Him to get the blessings out of His hand.

Here is sovereign mercy-”I will give them the shower in its season.” Is it not sovereign, divine mercy?-for who can say, “I will give them showers,” except God? There is only one voice which can speak to the clouds, and bid them beget the rain. Who sendeth down the rain upon the earth? Who scattereth the showers upon the green herb? Do not I, the Lord? So grace is the gift of God, and is not to be created by man. It is also needed grace. What would the ground do without showers? Happy Father’s Day!

I just want to take a moment to wish all of the Dad’s out there a beautiful and blessed Father’s Day! I wish that my dad could be here with me, but I like to believe that he’s up there in Heaven celebrating the day with our glorious Heavenly Father! 🙂

Enjoy your special day. And children young and old, appreciate your dad’s today and everyday. Be sure to thank God for your dad’s. And if you’ve lost your Father as I have or your Father was never there, just turn to God who is your Father in Heaven. He loves you more than any earthly father ever could. He’s waiting for you to turn to Him now. Just let His love wash over you!
