Gilani Taylor passed away about 5 hours ago at about 6:00 PM or 6:30 PM Pacific Time October 21, 2011 Friday. She is now with Jesus and her baby girl Jayla. Please pray for her husband Rodney and her surviving daughter Amiya, also known as Mimi, who was not in the car that fateful and tragic day, as well as their son Milan. Please don’t ever forget Gilani. Continue to pray that the person that has killed Gilani and Jayla will be caught, so that he or she can pay the price for what they’ve done and go to jail.
The person was driving a white, 2000’s model SUV on the 101 Freeway under the Las Virgenes Overpass October 1, 2011 Saturday at around 8:32 AM. If you know ANYTHING please report it to the CHP at 818-240-8200. Thank you! God bless you!
Quick update! Gilani’s condition is very bad. The doctors have said that there isn’t much more that they can do. It is completely in God’s hands. Gilani’s Pastor posted on his Twitter page this message today Friday October 21, 2011 at 3:00 PM “Doctors have now put Sister Lani’s life in God’s Hands. I’m SO glad that she did the same thing 2 and a half yrs ago! PRAY! MIRACLE TIME” So please continue to pray with all you’ve got! Keep lifting Gilani in prayer. Thank you and God bless you! It’s been over two weeks and Gilani Taylor is still alive! Fighting for her life? Yes. Still Critical? Yes, and she will for some time. But she is still alive. The doctors didn’t think she’d live for two days. Yet, she’s still here. God is so good! But Gilani is still not out of the woods. Her condition has worsened so your prayers are still needed. Gilani went into Cardiopulmonary arrest also known as cardiac arrest on October 17, 2011. Her Pastor held an all night Shut In prayer service to pray for her last night October 18, 2011. Anyone could come and pray. So the situation is even more serious. I do not know if she is still in a medically induced coma. But if so, then she is still unaware of the death of Jayla. Please continue to hold her up. I don’t know what her condition is right now. Getting updates is difficult. But as soon as I know of any changes, either good or bad, I will let you know.

Here is more of what I know so far since my original article. The homegoing service for Jayla took place this past Friday on October 14, 2011. People that didn’t even know Jayla showed up to honor this young girl’s life and to show support to the family. I was unable to attend. But I heard that while it was sad it was also beautiful. It was a true celebration of her short life. Jayla was incredibly loved.
I’ve also become aware of the fact that Gilani has had two surgeries which she has come through well. Of course there will be many more in the future. So continue to hold her up. Some good news is that Gilani is no longer on a respirator and is now breathing on her own. Praise God! This is great news and further evidence of how much God is continuing to work in this woman’s life. Keep praying for more miracles. God really does answer prayer. Believe that because it’s true. I know that He hears all of our prayers for Gilani and her family. So keep sending them up.

Many people have gone to Gilani’s Facebook page, Twitter Page, Youtube page and RevbNation page to leave words of support so that she and her family can read them when they are able. Others have rallied around Gilani in other ways. A couple of people have held fundraisers to pay for Jayla’s funeral and to help the family pay for Gilani’s medical care which is quite expensive. The club “Crave Lounge” where Gilani was slated to perform a week after her accident turned the night into a Benefit Concert for her and to raise money in her honor for her medical care. Pangaea Club in Ventura also held a Benefit concert in Gilani’s honor as well. People that have heard her story have been deeply touched by it. I know that the support for her has been amazing.

Don’t stop praying for Gilani or her family. They need us to pray for them. The news media is not staying on top of her story. They don’t feel that she’s “newsworthy” enough. So we need to keep her story alive and keep the prayers and financial gifts coming. As the Body of Christ we need to stand with our Sister in Christ. Like I said in the last article, when one of us hurts we all hurt.

Like I also said before in the previous article, when something bad happens to well-known supposedly newsworthy individuals people bend over backwards to send kind words, prayers, condolences and even financial gifts to charities the person supported. And there is nothing wrong with that. But, when the “little guy” gets hurt or worse they are forgotten. Well, I won’t forget about Gilani and I hope that you won’t either.
Please pray that the perpetrator that caused the accident to be found. This persons needs to be found. The person was driving a early 200’0s white SUV at around 8:32 AM on the 101 Freeway near Calabasas, California going east under the Las Virgenes Road Overpass. If you know anything about what happened please report it to the police.
Pray for the family to be strong as they rally around Gilani in her time of need. I know that they are suffering very much over this terrible tragedy. Lift up her husband Rodney and her younger daughter Mimi, and their son Milan, especially. I know that they are hurting the most out of all of the family. Continue praying for Gilani herself, of course. Pray that not only will she recover, but that she will be able to live as normal a life as possible. I’m praying for a complete healing. I’m praying for a miracle. God is still in the miracle business right? That’s right! But, even if He decides to call her home to be with Jayla it will be alright. Yes, pray that she will survive. But, let’s also pray that God’s will be done, like someone reminded me recently. Amen? Amen! Because whether she stays here in this world and get’s better, or goes home to Jesus, Gilani wins.
