Look To The Lord

Look to the Lord when times are hard. Often times we want to run from Him and wallow in our pain and despair. We feel as if we are too broken and pathetic to come to Him. But the truth is that He’s waiting for you to stretch out your hand to Him so that He can give you the help you need and lift you up. Now is not the time to run from Him, but to Him.

The Lord is our hope and our strength. He will give us the strength to overcome if we’d only ask Him. So often we have Continue reading

What’s Impossible With God?

Impossible. I can’t stand that word. Why? Because it gives people an excuse to give up, to settle for less and to be less. I could never do that. It’s impossible. I could never write that book. It’s impossible. I could never start my own business. I’m too young/old. It’s impossible. And on and on it goes. One excuse after another of why you can’t do, be or become the person you are meant to be, or accomplish what you are meant to accomplish.

We always say that Continue reading

Hope Springs is another gem written by author Kim Cash Tate. Hope Springs tells the story of Janelle Evans, Becca Anderson and Stephanie London and how their lives are forever changed when after they are brought together through tragedy.

Hope Springs is book three in a series which includes the books Faithful and Cherished. You should definitely check them out as well.

Evict Unforgiveness From Your Life

I heard a quote once that wasn’t only intriguing but rooted in truth. It said that “Holding a grudge is allowing someone to live rent free in your head.” That is so true. You are giving people room in your life that don’t belong there when you hold grudges. Cut people loose from your life when they don’t belong there. Forgive them and move on. Give the issue to Jesus and give the offender an eviction notice!

I know people who love to hold grudges. It amazes me. And when you call them out on it they get offended. They don’t realize the spiritual harm that they do to themselves. It’s such a Continue reading

When You’ve Done All You Can, STAND!

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” – Ephesians 6:13 KJV

You have all that you need

We have all that we need to stand strong when life gets crazy. God has given us spiritual armor to wear to protect is in spiritual battle. We are to put it on daily so that we are always ready and protected from the wicked plans of the enemy. Are you wearing yours?

“… And having done all, to stand.”

When the battles start we are usually caught off guard. And our first instinct isn’t always to fight but to run. You either go into denial or fear comes and paralyzes you. You want to cry. Or lie down in bed and pull the covers over your head and hope it will all go away. But God said to stand. Don’t run. Don’t hide. Don’t lie down. But Continue reading

A New Year, A New Beginning

With a new year comes new challenges. But it also brings with it new opportunities. Some people look at the new year with dread. They whine and complain. “Another year has been lost and wasted. Here’s to another year and my dreams have not come true. I’m still struggling. Things are still hard. Life is still rough. When am I going to get my time to shine? When do I catch a break?”

I know that feeling. It’s that feeling of not knowing your purpose; of feeling that your sorrow is unending. “Why am I here Lord? Is this all there is?” I’m here to tell you that things do get better. But it takes time. Joy does come in the morning. It’s hard to believe that when you wake up and you’re facing Continue reading

Joy Comes In The Morning

Nothing lasts forever. Not even our troubles. The tide always turns. When we are deep in sorrow we forget that. Because in those moments we are unable to see clearly. We only know what we feel. And that’s that the pain is unbearable. We are unable to look ahead and see a brighter day.

Whether you can Continue reading
